By use of an article 23 license we are able to relay VAT directly in VAT return. When importing from a non-EU country, no VAT has to be paid at customs. As a limited tax representative, we can act for foreign entrepreneurs, for example when clearing goods from outside the EU the VAT obligation can be taken over by Trexico Logistics. By way of general fiscal representation, Trexico Logistics can act on behalf of a foreign company for all goods and services where VAT must be paid, such as import from non-EU countries.

When goods are imported and exported outside the EU, it is necessary to submit a declaration to Customs. Trexico Logistics has the expertise, software and necessary permits to fully carry out/execute these processes for you. The release of goods for free circulation, transport “in Transit” or transport to or through EFTA countries is also no problem/obtainable. Our people have a suitable solution for every challenge!

The preparation and/or requesting of the above mentioned documents is one of our services. Both certificates can provide financial benefits to the buyer of the goods if trade agreements have been made between the EU and the country of origin. Alternatively, it is also possible for you as an importer to benefit from any import related exemption or discount. Therefore, the supplier of the goods must ensure that EUR.1 or ATR certificate is delivered with the shipment.

Sometimes goods are purchased outside the EU and, at the time of arrival in the Netherlands their final destination in not known yet. Are they to be re-exported to a country outside the EU? Do they need to be cleared to become free goods? In such cases our bonded warehouse is a good interim solution: the goods can be stored here awaiting the final decision.
